Biography
Robert Roehl, born and raised in Spokane, Washington, has lived and worked in Colorado since 1963. After receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Literature and a Master’s Degree in Philosophy from the University of Colorado he discovered he only knew one way to make a living: working in restaurants, as he had done to pay tuition, etc., throughout his higher education. In the years since, he has been part owner in three restaurants in the Denver/Boulder area as well as a local theater company, reading mystery/suspense novels and working on the craft of writing in between.
Currently, he owns and operates a coffee bar and bookstore in north Denver, Tenn Street Coffee & Books, where a hard copy of Bingo King, his third novel, is prominently displayed. His short stories have appeared in Parabola and Works & Conversations magazines. He continues to write when time permits.
